Q: When should I book my maternity session?

A: I recommend Scheduling your maternity session between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. This is when your belly has a beautiful, round shape and you’re still comfortable enough to pose.

Q: Where do sessions take place?

A: We live in Montana! Many people only dream of having beautiful photos taken in our state. That being said, a majority of my photos are taken outdoors. I do also offer indoor sessions at studios in town. There is a studio fee associated with a studio photoshoot. I am happy to help you choose a location that fits your style.

Q: What if I am nervous about taking photos outdoors with others around?

A: No worries! I have a few locations that are private property away from others, so we wont have any hikers or bird watchers interrupt the session.

Q: Do You provide wardrobe or should I bring my own?

A: Yes! I offer a curated client closet with flattering maternity gowns in a variety of styles. My client closet is ever growing so continue to check for updated outfits. You’re also welcome to bring your own outfits!

Q: Can my partner or children be in the photos too?

A: Absolutely! Maternity sessions can include spouses and children. This is a special time for the whole family.

Q: Can I bring a friend to the shoot?

A: Yes! I actually recommend this. Being a male photographer there are times when my assistant (My wife) is not able to come with me. It is always best to have a friend that could help you with your outfit or be your cheerleader!

Q: I’m not sure how to pose or what looks good - Can you help?

A: Absolutely! That is what I am here for. I will walk you step-by-step through the poses.

Q: Okay I’m sold! How do I book a session?

A: Awesome I cannot wait to work with you. It is Simple! Just fill out my Contact Form and I will reach out to you!

Q: How long will it take to get my photos?

A: Turnaround time on a full Gallery is roughly 3-4 weeks. I want to make sure I give your photos the full attention they deserve!

Q: How Many Photos will I receive with my session?

A: Great Question! I particularly don’t like to put a number on a session. These are YOUR photos. I will deliver all of the photos that turn out! Sometimes that could be 20 for the shorter sessions or upwards of 50 with the longer sessions.

Q: What if I need to reschedule?

A: Life Happens. Kiddos get sick, Mom might not be felling the best, things happen! I allow one free Reschedule with a 24 hour notice. Any after that will result in a $25 rescheduling fee.

Q: What if the weather is bad?

A: The Weather in Montana is completely unpredictable most days. If the weather is bad enough we can reschedule at no extra cost. Keep in mind cloudy days are a photographers best friend! The clouds act as a super sized light diffuser. This puts a very soft flattering light on your skin and has been the cause of some of my favorite photos I have ever taken!

Q: Do you offer Birth Photography?

A: This is something I want to add to my services. This is also something I have not done personally. That being said, if this is something you would like let me know in the Contact Form and we can chat about it.

Q: What underwear or bra should I wear under my gown?

A: I recommend seamless nude underwear (Or if you are comfortable with it, I actually recommend no underwear) this helps minimize or totally eliminate visible lines. Bring at least one nude or skin tone strapless or convertible bra. you could also bring a solid white or black bra that complements the outfit. again, if you are comfortable with it, no bra is also an option.

Q: If we are outside how will I change outfits with privacy?

A; I have a pop up camping shower that I bring with me to all of my outdoor shoots to have a portable changing room for privacy.
